Accessibility

An eye-comfort product should be comfortable for everyone to use.

Last updated: July 23, 2026

Our commitment

Accessibility and eye comfort go hand in hand. We aim to make the website and app usable by as many people as possible, regardless of how they browse.

Standards

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a target for the website.

What we do

  • Semantic, structured HTML and clear headings
  • Full keyboard navigation and visible focus states
  • Readable, eye-friendly color contrast in light and dark mode
  • A dark theme and calm, low-glare visuals
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences
  • Descriptive labels for interactive controls

Known limitations

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some areas may not yet fully meet our targets, and we're continually improving.

Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us at accessibility@protectyoureyes.app so we can address it.
